Our Solution is the DVT Prevention Therapy Program

Our wearable Portable DVT Prevention Device provides the same DVT prevention therapy as the hospital sequential compression devices (SCD).

Proven Technology Made in the USA, a company with over 30 years’ experience

The Portable DVT Device System offers the same DVT prevention technology as SCDs found in hospitals. Every minute, the VascuEase inflates and compresses the leg veins for 15 seconds at 50 mmHg which mobilizes venous blood and prevents clotting. Over the next 45 seconds, the deflation cycle allows the same veins to refill which maximizes the emptying of the veins during the next inflation cycle.

Educational Support

VasoCARE provides printed educational training material for staff nurses and patients on the proper use of the VascuEase device. In addition, VasoCARE provides marketing material for HHC marketing reps to support successful marketing of the program to surgeons within the agency’s community.

Referrals

Our DVT Prevention Program provides your agency with a quality-of-care program to a population of surgical patients having a validated need, namely, protection from developing DVT.

HOW DOES OUR PORTABLE DVT DEVICE WORK?

The Portable DVT device promotes maximum comfort, compliance, and positive results.

The Portable DVT device represents a new level of care in the pneumatic compression device category for preventing DVT for all non-ambulatory patients during hospital stay or while recovering at home.
Every minute, the device inflates the leg cuffs for 15-seconds at 50 mmHg for increasing venous outflow and preventing pooling of blood. Immediately the cuffs deflate for 45-seconds which allows for venous refill. Mimicking the physiology of emptying and refilling of the leg veins helps prevent venous stasis.
The fully integrated lithium ion battery supplies 20 hours of uninterrupted DVT prevention on a single charge. Portable, lightweight, and free of tubes and hoses help prevent accidental falls. This Portable DVT device has “one-size fits all sleeves” promoting maximum comfort, compliance, and positive results.

OTHER THERAPY PROGRAMS FOR FUTURE DISCUSSIONS

The Lymphedema Therapy Program we promote maximum comfort, compliance, and positive results.

Our 4 and 8 chamber gradient sequential pneumatic compression devices are intended for treating lymphedema, lymphedema associated with venous insufficiency, and/or venous stasis ulcers.
Our compression devices are designed for home and hospital use. Ease of use promotes high compliance, positive results, reduced pain, and improved quality of life.
We understand that every patient is an individual with unique requirements, and therefore we only deal with a company offers custom limb sleeves to meet their specific needs.
Our pneumatic compression devices are also made in the USA.
Medicare and most private insurance companies cover our pneumatic compression devices and limb sleeves.

The Vascular Stimulation device and how it works.

Aching swollen legs, cold feet, limb pain while walking, or hard to heal foot or leg ulcers are symptoms of poor circulation present in chronic venous disease and/or peripheral arterial disease.
Over 60% of patients suffering with chronic venous disease and/or peripheral arterial disease have reduced calf muscle pump function due in part to the effects of the aging process and/or a lack of daily exercise due to living with osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal problems, foot/leg ulcers, limb pain, and a lack of motivation to exercise. This device emits a specific electrical impulse every second to recruit the calf muscle fibers leading to muscle twitches much like the contractions experienced while walking.  Activating the calf musculoskeletal pump improves blood flow to the heart seven times and to the lower extremities five times.
FACT: Inactivity of the calf muscle pump results in a 47% decrease in venous outflow, 13% reduction in heart rate, and reduced arterial inflow to the legs.
FACT: The common denominator with total contact casting, walking boots, and Unna Boots is reduced range of motion (ROM) and disuse muscle atrophy. These products prevent normal foot propulsive and ankle flexion, leading to calf muscle pump dysfunction, decreased venous outflow, reduced arterial inflow, and delayed wound healing.
SOLUTION: This device stimulates calf muscle pump function by delivering an electrical impulse every second that leads to calf muscle contractions, improves venous outflow by 7x, arterial inflow by 5x, and accelerates wound healing. During each hour, the calf muscle pump is activated 3,600 times leading to improved blood flow in both the macrovascular and microvascular systems.

The device enhances the calf muscle pumping function, improves venous outflow to the heart, and arterial inflow to the lower extremities.
